Leena Maria Paul was never part of Madras Cafe: Bali.

Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam actress Leena Maria Paul, who was arrested from a farmhouse in Delhi for her involvement in a number of cheating cases, is not debuting in Bollywood with upcoming Hindi movie Madras Cafe. The executive producers of the film claim that the arrested actor was never part of this big-budget project. Soon after Leena Maria Paul was caught along with her friend Balaji by the police, it was reported that the Malayalam actress, who has starred in Husbands in Goa, Red Chillies, Cobra and Nandalala, is foraying into Bollywood with Madras Cafe. This news came as big
shock to the film unit members who denied her association with their upcoming movie. Talking to Times of India, Tharun Bali, one of the executive producers of Madras Cafe, slammed the reports stating, "Leena was never part of Madras Cafe. We're indeed surprised to hear this." A couple of other members from the film unit say that they have neither seen her during the shoot of the film nor heard about her role in it. They do not know whether she is a part of the project. Directed by Vicky Donor fame Shoojit Sircar, Madras Cafe is a political thriller, which deals with the subject of terrorism and will be shot in Sri Lanka, South India and Delhi.
