On Sunday, when India won the match against Pakistan, it made the day of many Indians all over the globe. One of the key people responsible for that win probably goes to Virat Kohli. It must be noted that in the recent few weeks, Kohli has been making headlines quite frequently. Be it because he was dating the beautiful Anushka Sharma or when the news of their devastating break-up shook the nation. However, with Sunday’s win in the bag this time he made headlines for all the right reasons!
Recently, at the Indian High Commission gathering, Virat took on the stage to sing his favorite old Hindi song, Jo Vaada Kiya Wo Nibhana Padega. While it came as a surprise to most, the cricketer actually has a wonderful pair of vocal cords on him and sings wonderfully! He posted a very warm and heartfelt video of himself in action on his Instagram page moments later. The video was taken by badass cricketer and Kohli’s team mate Yuvraj Singh.
While we absolutely love the way he sang, we can’t help but wonder if the choice of song has any ulterior motive to it. The lyrics of the song are truly sweet and the message is clear – no matter what challenges come up, return to me. You have made me a promise and you should now return to me.
Well, we wonder if this seemingly innocent singing sojourn was meant as a message to his ex, Anushka Sharma. Was Kohli slyly asking his former lady love to return to his arms?
