Amala Paul and AL Vijay, the much-celebrated star couple is on the verge of divorce. In the recent interview given to a Tamil media, Vijay's father AL Alagappan heavily thrashed Amala. According to Alagappan, the actress doesn't pay heed to husband Vijay or the elders of the family. Both her husband and in-laws were not happy with Amala's decision to be active in the films, especially Kollywood.

Vijay wanted his wife to concentrate more on family life, but the actress was not ready for it. The couple once had a heated argument over the issue, and Amala Paul even agreed to lessen the number of films.
