At a time when reviews on social media have come under huge flak from various sections of film fraternity, director Anand Shankar who made a good debut in Arima Nambi and is awaiting the release of his second project Iru Mugan has lauded social media reviews, adding that it helps fuel positive word of mouth for small films.
Produced by Shibu Thameens, Iru Mugan has Vikram in a dual role including a RAW agent and reportedly a transgender. The movie’s trailer and audio will be launched on August 2nd in Sathyam Cinemas.
The movie is all set for release on September 1st for the Ganesh Chaturthi weekend and the team is hoping that the film will have a good run since Bakrid falls on September 7th.
